Lately I’ve been on the lookout for affordable art to fill the bare walls of my new home. Along came Urban Road!
This great website sells fantastic prints, stretched onto canvas and ready to hang! Best of all they come in a range of decent sizes and they won’t break the bank. Oh and did I mention how much I love a site that offers free shipping?
I love them a lot.
I also love deer motifs so this one is definitely my favourite…
Such beautiful colours and styling.

I know I’m a little late to the party on this one but the June 2012 issue of Real Living magazine is a cracker!
Will you just look at that cover! The stunning artwork is by the talented Andrew O’Brien and I would kill to own a piece like that.
This issue also marked the release of a very exiting collaboration between Real Living and Target. That gorgeous hot pink bedlinen on the cover is only $109 for a queen set!
There are so many great spaces featured in this issue. Talk about major home envy…
Look at that side board!
Those Moroccan pouffes and wedding blanket!
That hot pink pendant light!
Be still my beating heart! -C x

This gorgeous waterside home in Sydney’s Pittwater belonging to botanical artist, Cherie-Christine Curchod was featured in Country Style magazine a few months back and the photo’s have been saved on my computer, waiting to be shared ever since.
I love the way this home is styled, it’s so cozy and welcoming, fresh and warm at the same time with a beautifully ‘lived in’ feeling. Not only do I love the incredible style of this home but I love that it is only accessible by boat! What a dream… -C x

I first fell in love with Pip Boydell’s work after seeing her featured on Anna Spiro’s gorgeous blog Absolutely Beautiful Things. I then went to Black & Spiro to see some pieces in person and was captivated by the intricacies of each and every work. I love the way Pip captures the beauty of everyday objects in still life and makes each one seem special, individual and spectacular. I would love to own one of her original pieces but I’m just waiting for the right time and the right piece to come together…
Pip also writes a gorgeous blog, PipShining, which you can see here. Her blog was the source for all these gorgeous photos of her work.
Can’t wait to see something by this very talented artist hanging on my wall one day! -C x

I am obsessed with these beautiful original photographs by Kari Herer Photography. I love the mix of drawing and natural, sculptural elements. I think I might have to invest in some to frame for my bedroom. But how to choose? -C x
